Languages of instruction Danish, German, Frisian
Teaching material The availability and quality of the Danish teaching material is good. The availability of Frisian teaching material is bad. This is partly because there is no structural funding.
Remarks The language used by the pupils in informal communications around the school is German.

Teaching material There is not much teaching material for the Frisian language, the material which is available is made by the school itself. They do use the 'taalrotonde' adapted from Cedin though. Twice a year Gerd Vahder organises a teachers meeting (Lehrer-treff) for the exchange of (Frisian) teaching material.
Remarks Frisian is given as a subject just as Danish or French. Frisian is given on a voluntary basis but every pupil takes the Frisian course. In the 'Überstufe" (grades 7,8 and 9) pupils may choose between Frisian or Danish.
