Teaching material The availability and quality of the Irish teaching material is reasonable.
Remarks The main problems are the availability of teachers, ancillary staff with fluency in Irish, opportunities to expand the childrens Irish language beyond the classroom and the accuracy in the Irish language amongst children. Teaching aids and inservice training are also problematic for the school.

Teaching material The availability and quality of teaching material is bad.
Remarks The main problem at the moment is the supply of teachers, who are willing and able to teach in an immersion education setting. We also need to develop standardised reading tests for the Irish language and materials to help children with learning difficulties through the medium of Irish.

Remarks The main problem at the moment is lack of support and understanding in Dept. of Education re Immersion education. Preservice and Inservice education for teachers teaching in immersion settings. Solution: An education that is willing to learn and a proper preservice and inservice facility for teachers dealing with education through irish.
