Celebrate the European Day of Languages

On the 26th of September 2007 the European Day of Languages (EDL) is celebrated for the seventh time; a day for celebrating linguistic diversity, plurilingualism, and lifelong language learning.

Why not celebrate EDL at your school too? Let your pupils find out more about the different languages spoken throughout Europe. For more information and ideas you can go to the EDL website. It gives a lot of background information and you can download information materials and order posters and stickers. There are also greeting cards to send and an interactive game to play.
